What is the cost of an assessment?
The fee varies depending upon the reason for the assessment and the time required. Please see fees for more information.
How do I prepare for the assessment?
We recommend getting a good night’s sleep beforehand and avoid alcohol and illicit substances in the period prior to the assessment. Please bring along reading glasses and hearing aids where applicable. Please also bring relevant medical documentation, including a list of current medications and reports from any previous assessments.
How will I receive the results?
The outcomes of the assessment will be discussed with you during a feedback appointment. You will also receive a detailed report outlining the results, interpretation and recommendations. You are able to share this report with other health professionals, school teachers or carers.
How many appointments will I attend?
The interview and assessment are usually completed within the same appointment, which will take about 3-4 hours. For some people it might be necessary or beneficial to split this appointment into several sessions. This will be discussed prior to your appointment. You will also attend a follow up appointment to receive feedback on the assessment.
